Hello Mr. Carl!
This is Jack, the fabled nephew of Practicing Buddhism. Anyway, I heard that you couldn’t comment on my blog, http://scribe-of-ages.blogspot.com.
Needless to say, I figured I’d just tell you what to do in case you wanted to post.
(Just in case you were wondering, I *am* a secret agent for the CIA, and I didn’t get the link to your blog from my aunt. Nope… secret agent…)
So you have to hit *Select Profile* and go to either Google Account if you have one, or OpenID if you dont. If its google account you have to sign in, and then use the google account button. If its Open ID you can just type your name and post your comment. Once you’ve posted your comment you have to wait a second because the paranoid people of blogspot.com have to have a handicap check. Fill in the handicap check and voila, you’re comment will post.
Hope this helped!! Thanks for visiting my blog!!!
By the way, your blog is pretty awesome… the name is epic!

Thanks for the helpful information on my blog about making puzzles. I wanted to reply to your comment, but evidently wordpress doesn’t allow you to reply to replies.
Just wanted to say thanks.

Glad to provide suggestions. Almost all blogs to which I subscribe have reply to reply as does mine. My skills are too primitive to advise but I think if you just query wordpress they will give directions for you to include the feature. Regards.

You can reply to replies with wordpress as this blog and others allow. Perhaps it is an option in your set up menu. I am not computer literate enough to rec systems matters but perhaps a quick query to wp would help you.

I am so glad that I know you. Congratulations on all of your education in the past as well as your success as a well known cartoonist. You make us all light up. I am grateful for you. I have to admit, I am a person who is too serious so laughter is my medication. Thanks for always supporting my blog with your wonderful comments and inspirational sayings. Carl,
Sorry about the problem you had trying to comment on Bridges Made from Junk. Perhaps it was on the link to the other site where the story is published? I tried to to comment there too and had the same problem. Don’t know why.

Carl, I wanted to thank you for your insightful and encouraging comments on (my grandson) Charlie’s drawing of a clown. He read it. Before he read it, he saw your photo and said, “He looks like a nice man”. After he read several comments, he wanted to be sure which one was the cartoonist! You comments meant a lot to him. Thank you for taking the time to make a difference to one little boy! George

I was high school history teacher 33 years and I know talent and potential in young people and grandson has the “touch” as did I when I was his age. Would like to see more of his work. Perhaps he may care to pick a fav or two and guest post on my blog. Let me know. My computer skills are primitive but know enough to set something up.

I know about this as well. I have dealt with it for as long as I can remember. Sometimes it hits worse than other times. It weirdly helpful knowing how it works in the sense that if we can bide our time through it, we know it will pass. But in the meantime it’s not fun. I feel for you and I am praying it moves along quickly.
