I am swinging around to his economic views. Reagan said the problem is the government but FDR proved that is not necessarily true. Inefficient and gridlock government is the problem . The megabanks and megacorps run the government and we need to take it back. As long as we are a government by the people what is wrong with doing things for ourselves to “promote the general welfare” ?
I did a little math, If Sam has voted for FDR 20 times(including this upcoming election) that would be 80 years. Now considering that Sam must have been at least, 21 at the time of his first venture into the world of politcal choice, Sam looks damn good, for 101 years old, I would say..
He did miss a few . He voted for Woodrow Wilson in 1916. Personally I was distrustful of the big business republicans supporting Taft so I voted Bull Moose, Teddy Roosevelt.
Nice collage. Would be cool to see more of these.
Glad I didn’t have to stand in those kinda lines. It was such a breeze, I don’t even remember standing up.

This is one for which I have no prediction. In Miami all this week the early voting lines have been jammed packed.

FDR is my favorite President ever! I don’t care that he was decades before my time. I’d vote for him if I had the chance, too.

So many new subscribers last 6 months perhaps I will resurrect some old posts. Good idea as cartoon ideas slow in coming of late.

If you really analyze his record
Ron was more of an FDR New Dealer than conservative republican but he wore that mask artfully
