I’ve found that I better be among the first when I can because your other commenters come up with some amazing and amusing comments (that I wish I’d made first).
We need someone to combat the exploitation of the workers by the capitalist bloodsuckers. Down with the megabanks and megacorps. All power to the proletariat.
Oh great, Stan and his gang are obviously union*, Obama supporters.. By the way, why is it worker’s rights, should in not be worker’s lefts? “Workers of the World Unite…”
I avoid pollytickin’ on the blog. But I consider myself a mixture of things: moderate republican, Presbyterian, Italian, pro union and pro environment. Go figure. And go YANKEEEEEEES !
Oh, yeah, I agree with most of what you said, I have been in unions of one type or another since I got out of the Navy in ’72. But what I don’t understand is the lack of foresight by unions, politically,. Instead of always giving their support to the Democrats, they should use it as leverage between both parties. Oh, yeah, you said Go Yankees, and they went! Perhaps you should leverage your athletic support(er)
I came in too late! So many great puns and one-liners ahead of me. How about … it will take a long time for Stan to swallow his pride? Nah – that’s a “stretch!”

Some say Stan’s head is in the clouds, but this is solid.

I’ve heard of brass somethingelses. In any event the workers may have gold for teeth now but no lead in butts. Stan has a steel will.

Stan and the Boss could cooperate or compete so as to go neck and neck in something constructive or beneficial in the new contract . . . . .
