News at the moment is that FEMA has at last made ground on New Dorp Beach. Also hitting the news is the announcement by Mayor Bloomberg that the NYC Marathon will go ahead. Carl, I hope if you have friends and family in Staten Island now that they’re okay! What’s happened there is so horrible, and the response is disgraceful. I am so glad that the marathon was cancelled – it was unconscionable to consider having it.
