Me too but as a person that cannot swim( lived in Miami 6 decades, seesh) I’ll just collect shells and swoon over the babes and dudettes.

Oh yes, I read it. I taught American history for 34 years but at lot of particulars like this have kinda evaporated from my mind’s text book. Thanks for that info. I was surprised to note that expanding the franchise to white men stated pre Jackson.
