The weird part is, if the guy in the hat was pushing the rope in a circle, the other guy probably would not have questioned it. He would of thought it was a neat trick. But since hat guy took the easy way out, what he was doing was nothing special.
I’m torn here…I could make a comment about your cartoon holding a clue to my perception of what is due to come from the Republican Convention, but with Isaac’s havoc I’m not sure that I don’t feel sorry for everyone involved. It makes it much harder for me to make snide remarks. So, I maybe I should just say that I liked the cartoon very much? D
At least it keeps the ice free of dust. I have seen that, curling I think it was called & I think it’s just weird. Maybe rope pushing should be considered for the next Olympics

Yes, it is an old, old joke but it was fun trying to put it in picture form.

Hard to argue with his logic…But if you give him enough rope…you know the rest.

The only rope I think is push-able: one of those leashes for invisible dogs
Seen those?

I only use ropes for jumping and hanging out clothes myself. I don’t get why he’d be pulling it in a circle either.
