His song is “Peg o my heart”

You’re funny, Carl. I guess the Emperor wore his hat too long. A lot of work in this drawing.
Carl D'Agostino August 4th, 2012 at 08:11
Yes, it takes one to recognize that plus redraws.
flynn1959 August 4th, 2012 at 08:08
Does this have anything to do with “Legionaries” disease???
Carl D'Agostino August 4th, 2012 at 08:12
I’ll have to consult my leg doctors.
lulu August 4th, 2012 at 08:11
Just a simple case of hat head.
Carl D'Agostino August 4th, 2012 at 08:13
I see you have been to med, I mean head, school. Very astute.
Snoring Dog Studio August 4th, 2012 at 09:48
Wonderful! I wonder if the hat was created to fit that head or did the head take the shape of the hat after awhile?
Carl D'Agostino August 4th, 2012 at 15:01
The chicken or the egg thing, eh ?
katecrimmins August 4th, 2012 at 09:59
When I was young, I often wondered what was under a nun’s headpiece. Now I have a good idea!
Carl D'Agostino August 4th, 2012 at 15:02
That’s funny.

Carl D'Agostino August 4th, 2012 at 15:04
Now I gotta think up a shoe/foot one.

Hat hair is replaced by hat head. And I don’t trust anyone who hides the salute they are offering.
Carl D'Agostino August 4th, 2012 at 15:12
Emperors are a shifty lot.

I think he got his hat “handed to him” at Waterloo.
Carl D'Agostino August 4th, 2012 at 20:10
Well said. He was defeated there once and for all on June 18 which is my birthday. But I am 1949 not 1815.
flynn1959 August 4th, 2012 at 20:55
Are you sure about that???
Tony McGurk August 4th, 2012 at 21:53
Ha a Good oe Carl. So that’s why those hats re funny shaped. I wonder if all the Queen’s guards at Buckingham Palace have big high heads
Carl D'Agostino August 4th, 2012 at 21:57
Like to see your rendition of such.
earthriderjudyberman August 4th, 2012 at 23:38
Now that hat makes sense. Thanks for clearing up that bit of mystery, Carl.

Carl D'Agostino August 5th, 2012 at 06:48
He’s just being protective. Lotta pick pockets in Paris.
Val August 5th, 2012 at 06:20
LOL! I don’t know how you come up with all these, Carl.
To be honest, neither do I .
Deb August 5th, 2012 at 11:55
Wow, this is better than the old, “if the shoe fits saying!” And I can get over all those little soldiers you did!…fantastic!
Carl D'Agostino August 5th, 2012 at 13:43
Tedious and time consuming.
Ankur Mithal August 5th, 2012 at 14:15
Uneasy lies the head that wears the hat…that’s why he wants to take it off
Carl D'Agostino August 5th, 2012 at 21:35
Or crown. Henry the Fourth-Shakespeare, right ?
Ankur Mithal August 6th, 2012 at 08:13
I did not know the origin of the phrase. Had to look it up. You are right. It is Shakespeare’s Henry IV. Thanks.
Carl D'Agostino August 6th, 2012 at 08:22
Got a C in Shakespeare from professor Lott. But that was 45 years ago. Obviously I deserved an A.
jannatwrites August 6th, 2012 at 02:20
Funny! It doesn’t look like anyone else could fill that hat.
Carl D'Agostino August 6th, 2012 at 06:09
He’s definitely unique.
