Or retake: Intro to Phil 101. And Hegel : dialectical materialism.

If you ask any new parent, they’ll tell you that change (time) seems to be the only constant.
Carl D'Agostino January 31st, 2012 at 10:33
That and baby poo poo and pee pee.
Maxi Malone January 31st, 2012 at 08:42
If Barry doesn’t learn to adapt he will be stuck in the neonatal ward, not allowed to interact with the big boys…

If nothing changes, nothing changes.
Carl D'Agostino January 31st, 2012 at 12:46
That would be a change.

My kid wiping up is long gone. However, there now exits adult kid wiping up of a different kind.

Hey, if we don’t change, we’re dead…Hey, didn’t you say that already? Hugs, xx

No fault in repetition. Humans need constant reminder and demonstrate the need for relearning what they have supposed to have learned
monicastangledweb January 31st, 2012 at 12:12
Oh, if babies could talk, I bet they’d be chock full of wisdom–and philosophical to boot. We could learn a thing or two from these babies.
Carl D'Agostino January 31st, 2012 at 12:47
Best powder, best crib toys, optimal milk temp, day care ratings…..
adeeyoyo January 31st, 2012 at 13:48
We all had to pass from being a helpless baby to childhood, then onward to adulthood.
Carl D'Agostino January 31st, 2012 at 14:22
Not in my case. Zounds, I was working at the steel mill and paying taxes since I was just 3. Or so it seems.
kateshrewsday January 31st, 2012 at 14:45
A tough lesson to learn. I don’t think I have, yet…
Carl D'Agostino January 31st, 2012 at 15:29
I am not sure than any of us can understand completely but we can learn and strive to approach the truth. I don’t think knowledge is a destination but a never ending process.
jannatwrites January 31st, 2012 at 20:50
Is this where they learn, “I cry, therefore I am”?
Carl D'Agostino January 31st, 2012 at 21:01
Ah, yes. Very astute. That was baby Rene Descartes.

I like the changes I instigate better than changes introduced by others……
Carl D'Agostino February 1st, 2012 at 06:33
So do I, but it seems ultimately the steering wheel remains in the hands of the gods and incompetents.
pattisj February 1st, 2012 at 16:08
