When I was a teen asking for my mom to chauffeur me somewhere, she would say, “No can do. But, I hear the Shoe Leather Express provides great service!”
I relate there. My dad thought you did not need a car to go on a date as older teen. What was I supposed to use – a magic carpet? Mother crazy about this too and often would not let me ride my bike because walking allegedly builds character. I thought Marco Polo already walked around the world.

Walk a mile in my shoes …
I love this post – who thought shoes had feelings? Or thoughts? I thought they just had a sole

Each one has a unique personality too. Just look in your closet. Then think about what you decide to wear.

Fabulous, especially the one who couldn’t quite dance all night. I have a feeling I’ve seen him somewhere before.

Are you familiar with the old song “I Could Have Danced All Night”?

I have special shoes for thinking up cartoons so I don’t “run” into a dead end.

That is wise. Always look before you ” leap” so you don’t “walk” into a trap.
